Laura Benson is a professional actress from small town Nebraska, now based in New York City.  She gravitates towards playing roles that possess a thruline of advocacy and empathy which can skew a bit machiavellian.  Whether it’s the defense attorney who has a flair for spinning the narrative, the doctor who is compassionate and patient, the consummate wife who tries to balance motherhood and career or the elitist Upper East Side PTA mom.  However, her absolute favorite roles are Mom to 10 yr old daughter, Birdie and 11 yr old Shih Tzu, Mookie.
